Wet,wet,wet...

...all day long and we had no power from 9 am till 4pm while a crew replaced a power pole a hundred yards down our road , so it was a case of find the window that invited the most (dreary) light and full on granny mode, knitting for Darcy!
I had prepped the pastry ingredients and the vegetable and smoked chicken for a pie for dinner and flipped the switch on the food processor the second power was restored. Pie now (5.06pm) in the oven and smelling good : ))
