Favirites

These little blue-gray gnatcatchers are among my favorite garden residents. They are so tiny and so fast!! And they eat those pesky gnats!
I canned corn Cobb broth for soup today! I also canned a couple jars of tomatoes in the broth for vegetable soup this winter. I do enjoy pressure canning! I also got our first harvest of okra! The only time I left the house today was to take flowers to Johnnys aunt down the road. It was a good day! And, to top it off, we saw that there are still two baby ducks on the pond with their mama!! We haven seen them in several days and just knew they were gone ! So glad they are still here.
