Big Day Out (v7)

I hit the Big City with Junior this evening.

Yes, on a Tuesday. Wild, huh?

We had burgers in Down the Hatch in Antigua Street in Edinburgh. He chose to live dangerously and also ordered a side dish of poutine... The owner is Canadian and that is the theme of the place - including the menu. Junior knows him from ice hockey.

I took a bit of a chance and tasted his poutine. It tastes better than it looks (not very difficult).

After that we crossed the street to Joseph Pearce's for a coffee. Very hipster Leith (Walk).

We went a little downmarket after that, signing in for the football at Easter Road... Hibernian hosting the mighty Queen's Park...

All I will add is that the mighty Queen's Park were outclassed by 5:1.

My Blip is the menu we chose our burgers from. The Curdmeister caught my eye because it sounded so awful. I did not order it. The Extra is the hipster haunt also known as Pearce's.
