Bannockburn

After our walk at the Kelpies the rain started. Indoor stuff done and then after lunch we went into Stirling so that John could spend his Waterstones gift card from Ali and Phil ( for Father’s Day)

Took Chloe up to Bannockburn tonight and met two American ladies who were on holiday. The elder of the two told us that her late mother was a war bride from Glasgow. They returned there today and were not impressed. Thankfully they thought the Stirling area was beautiful!

( The war bride from Glasgow worked in the film studios as a production assistant on John Wayne films and was also a stand in for Barbara Stanwyck!)

At the end of our conversation I had to ask….. Biden or Trump?
