A lovely day.

I woke at 5am and felt well rested. Noo set his alarm for 5.40am and brought me breakfast in bed (extra) After dropping him at school for his trip I came home and had a birthday bath. No work for me today - I took the day off.

My friend picked me up at 10am and we enjoyed a muddy walk around Brede Woods before lunch. We had a pub lunch and an afternoon of putting the world to rights.

Noo arrived back from his trip bang on time, and we came home to open cards and presents before ZQ treated us to dinner out.

I’ve had a lovely birthday and don’t feel any older. Perhaps I’m a little wiser.
