What I Saw...

Spent a couple of hours at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, sans the Big White Dog. I walked him much earlier this morn when it was a bit less hot and humid. Not that he ever complains. Thought that I might share some of what I saw...
Top Right: Question Mark Butterfly. I seldom see these beauties, so this was a special 'gift'  Top Left: A Soft-shelled Turtles Head. She was searching the water lily leaves for fish food pellets tossed in for the large Koi. I saw her aggressively nip at one of the Koi, which surprised me since the fish was as large as she was and probably out-weighed her. Bottom Left: Horace's Duskywing Skipper and Bottom Right: Some type of 'ground fungi'. As large as a dinner plate and resembled a 'bracket fungi'.
