Drip drip

This ornament was in our holiday rental which we left today. It is a look! Not one I’d have at home.

I went on the internet to see if it was a copy of some artist’s work (e.g. Jeff Koons) and discovered that dogs dripping in paint is much more of a thing than I’d imagined. French bulldogs too. Oh well.

Said farewell to the Lancaster family and headed back up the road. It was a bright and warm day when we left and the Lake District looked lovely as we drove through. There were some towering clouds around but it was still bright.

Ten seconds after we drove past the “Welcome to Scotland” sign the heavens opened. Torrential rain, temperature dropped from 20oC to less than 15oC in a few moments, fog lights on as we drove through the spray.

Ah, good to be home even if we are dripping wet - fortunately not with paint.
