Definitely not on theme today, I should check before I put the camera away... 

One of the many tubs/troughs on our patio has a wildflower mix from packets included in birthday cards. There's a small mix of cornflowers etc but also small ornamental grasses. 

Whilst having my usual coffee sitting in my Adirondack chair I noticed these grass heads, they are only about 10mm wide. I then saw the tiny critter, I thought it was a dark ladybird or beetle. It happens to be a very tiny snail. 

Don't tell anyone but I think we may have a couple of days without rain..!
