Today’s visitor …. Didn’t seem in distress, scampered around, ate some food, had a rest & then scampered off again. 
We had a family of hedgehogs a couple of years ago, they stayed for a season & then disappeared overnight. Probably found a more appealing place to nest & forage. This one seemed quite small, maybe a young one. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
