Home grown

We were driving through the Dordogne, in 1997 somewhere near Sarlat when we came across a hedgerow full of massive daisies. I stopped and took this photo. When we got home I decided to paint an oil of it. This is the 4ft x 3ft result. It’s on the wall here at home. My last oil painting, I went back to watercolours. The paint dries quicker. ;-)
