Finished bowl

A week and a half ago myself and 2 colleagues went to a gluss fusion night at Creative corner, in Abingdon. We'd done the course a while back, and been to quite a few sessions since. This is our creations in progress. And this blip is my finished bowl. A few of the glass straws slipped in the firing process, but overall I think I am quite happy with the finished article.
I made it for my mum for her birthday. I was going to be going up on this Sunday, but I ended up going a week earlier bcz she had a nasty fall and bone breakages last week. She's doing OK, thankfully. I'll pop up in a couple of weeks with this extra prezzie. Hope she likes it.
