Tiny Tree Aeonium

...for Tiny Tuesday, with thanks to Isbi for hosting, with the focus on a narrow aperture/deep depth of field. Here is a tiny bud on a Tree Aeonium, one of the happier plants in this 38C heat today.

It seems southern Spain is going to get even hotter over the coming weeks. We watched a helicopter dousing a wild fire over in the Santa Maria de las Nieves mountains from our garage roof this afternoon. It was fortunately extinguished quickly but this is the sign of things to come  as we move further into the arid summer.
