The Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

It has been a very mixed bag of weather. 18c to 21c for most of the day.

After a cloudy start, the sun came out at 10am and I got the washing dried on the line.

I went into Rishton to collect a Parish Church newsletter and it was lovely and mild with a breeze.


I did some weeding in the front garden before Mass online and then enjoyed a light lunch.

Hunter stayed out all night so has slept a lot today.

Holly has been chasing insects and eating flies. We do feed her regular cat meals!

Paul and me watched Escape to the Country and then The Repair Shop.

It rained in the afternoon and the wind got stronger.

I'm going for a walk before Father Brown starts at 5pm.
