Coniston Fells

I meet G for lunch in Grasmere - thundery rain was forecast but fortunately that didn't materialise.  Just a few spots.

We had a good catch up and she has been very supportive over the last few weeks.  Thanks, G.

WE had a walk around the village after lunch and it was very busy - the queue outside Grasmere Gingerbread was amazingly long.

I had intended to stop on the way home for a blip but all my usual snickets were long since taken.  Popped into Blackwell for a view across Windermere to the Coniston Fells - they are there somewhere under the cloud!
