Surprise, Surprise

I spent the day in the garden and walking Paddy, by in the garden I don’t mean gardening, tool kit sort out time and as the sun shone I thought to enjoy it whilst doing something useful.
With Joshua heading home I made a chilli that would remain hot until he got here, an accident on the M5 turned his five hour journey into an eight hour one.
I set off for the rugby club AGM with high hopes that this would not be another three hour epic. I need not have worried we shaved an hour off.
The proceedings opened with the presentation of the three outstanding awards and I was utterly surprised to win “Club Person Of The Year”. Very humbled.
Josh arrived at the rugby club in time for a couple of beers before we walked home.
