Today is the opening day of the Republican
Convention being held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Convention will formally nominate Donald Trump to be the Republican candidate for President in the November election. We’ve been watching the TV coverage and have just seen Trump’s arrival to a roaring welcome by the delegates. He did seem a bit subdued and his wounded ear was bandaged from the assassination attempt last Saturday.
