Talisker

A trip to the infamous Fairy Pools first today. It's the only time we have come across bus loads of tourists and camper vans.

They are a must see, and a decent wee climb, but a lack of rain lately has left them struggling for 'pools'. Those we found shared the emerald green colour of so many Canadian lakes.

Lunch at the Cafe Cuil, but of course, it was closed. Onto the pub. We have visited 2 of the 3 on the island. It was open and serving. Phew.

Along the road to the Talisker distillery. We had missed the chance to do a tour but could taste at the bar. I've decided between this and Torabhaig, I don't like peat whiskies.

The sun shone, and our wee faces are a little red. Home for more chat and Aperol and a quick check of the train app. We appear to have been given a carriage and seat numbers. Thunderbird Maybe Go!
