Morning mist in the Hope Valley

Only one more day of painting and floor laying to go! I really feel I have not had a moment to myself this week, and because of that mistakes begin to creep in to just about everything.

I took this shot on a small detour going to my son's house this morning. One of the memory cards I discovered was full and I switched to the second card. What I forgot to do was change it from JPEG to RAW. So, this shot is more or less straight from the camera.

The view is towards the town of Hathersage. Some of you may recognise it. The morning was beautiful and I wish I had left home earlier as the mist was amazing and clearing fast. From high up, it must have been spectacular! Never mind, there will be many more mornings like it.

If viewd LARGE, eagle eyed blippers may spot Mam Tor and bang in the centre of the image, the chimney of the Hope Valley cement works.

I am managing to reply to quite a few comments. I should be back up to speed over the weekend.

Have a good one!!!

I recommend you to take the trouble to view this LARGE.
