Leughadh

Second meeting of my Gaelic Reading Group tonight. Each week we read a different Litir Bheag (Little Letter) which is available on-line. Today's one was number 629 which focused on Scotland and Slavery.  Some of the Gaelic was quite tricky - new words and idioms but it is good to be stretched.  The topic was also interesting - it touched upon aspects of Scotland's role in slavery that we weren't familiar with.

The letters are presented by Ruairidh MacIllEathain and are a valuable resource for learners and the 1000th one was broadcast on Sunday.

It was lovely earlier on and I was pleased to get some more done in the garden. We then had thunder and  heavy showers !
