Trixie's Adventures

Mizzly & drizzly

It wasn't very nice when we woke up this morning. In fact it was positively horrible. It was raining. Hard! It may not look like it, in this Blip, but it was. Today Ann was working 11-4pm, so she wanted to take me for a decent walk this morning because she knew she would be tired when she came home from work. She says it's hard work being a 65 year old 'working woman' who is on her feet for 5 hours a day, plus another two hours, walking a Collie pup!

Anyway we trekked around all the beaches and town for about an hour and a half and got absolutely soaked through to our skin. Ann's anorak wasn't dry by the time she had to go to work, but she put it on again because it was still raining. And let's face it; you can't get any wetter than wet.

Fortunately by the time Ann came home it had stopped raining, but Ann was very tired so I didn't get a walk. I just got a play in the field with my ball.

Ann says that the fact that we have a field right next door to our house is making her lazy. Playing with my ball makes me very tired and all Ann has to do..................... is throw it for 15 mins max. I decide when the game is over. Sometimes I just flop down when I'm tired, and after three flop downs, that's game over. Sometimes, I don't even flop down. I just run to the gate. That means I want to go home.

I am such an adaptable little Collie pup. Playing with my ball has made me tired so I've had a little chillax on the sun terrace and now I'm back in my bed having another snooze.

….............And it looks like Mr Sunshine has come back out to play so maybe Ann can have a glass of wine on the sun terrace after all?! Or maybe she won't. Now that the football is over, she can get back to her normal Monday night TV viewing. Lol!!!
