Sunshine at last

Out early for a walk into the hills.

Very, very quiet no people for more than half the walk and hardly a breath of air.

Lovely to hear the chattering of swallows on the wires at the farm.

Butterflies Meadow Brown 2, Ringlet 11, Small Heath 6

Up the hill there were many Sand Martins buzzing overhead.

Later I found what I hoped for and mentioned by others as seen while we were in the Lakes. Pair of Whinchat both with food in their beaks so they must have young!

Final treat was a Barn Owl looking DAZ white in brilliant sunshine.
