Not so Lazy, Lazy last day

Day 7 and the day before we go. Hadn't really got anything planned for today so we thought we would have "Lazy Day", although this lazy day did involve walking for miles.

So a late start and we we walked down to the end of our road and walked along Bernauer Straße. Along this ran a section of the Berlin wall. There is also a Museum and Memorial about the wall and a short section has been preserved. Its amazing the wall existed.

There are a number of displays about the wall along this section. And there is also the Chapel of Reconciliation stands on the site of the old Church of Reconciliation which was demolished by the East in the 1980's. Its an amazing construction, with a fantastic bell housing.

Afterwards we walked into to popping in and out of shops, got some amazing rose shaped icecreams and souvenirs. We finished the day off with burgers and burritos at Rosen Burger.

We will miss Berlin :(
