Finding calm in the chaos

Day 1 of our kitchen refit - and the house is in chaos! Considering we're just having doors/side panels changed and not a completely new kitchen fitted, it's just as much mess with the oven and fridge out of action, and stuff from the kitchen now in 3 other rooms! help!!

So we got out of the fitters way for the morning to do a bit of shopping and take a walk at the nature reserve, which was very quiet again! Saw a couple of greenfinches and chiff-chaffs, 1 marbled white, couple of peacock butterflies and some gatekeepers.  Lots of lovely wildflowers about though adding colour.  And I do love walking through this tree tunnel, where the speckled woods hang out!

Think meals for the week ahead will be a lot of make do and mend affairs!  We did buy the fiiters a box of biscuits for the week ahead but they've said they're not big fans..... I'm sure we will enjoy them instead haha!
