Colour

I took a late lunchtime stroll again today, a lunchtime meeting with a data analyst disrupted my usual routine! It was another warm one (27C) in the shade at Edinburgh Airport was recorded today.

I stopped off at the Mound to take a picture of the flower beds in front of New College, which provide a riot of colour against the grassy backdrop.

The city appears to be gearing up for the festival, with the banners of New College already proclaiming it as a venue despite the start of the festivities still being a few weeks away.

Looking forward to an active weekend, although the weather is to become a bit cooler (still dry and settled though), which is just as well as I am attending a barbecue with friends tomorrow. The end of the oppressive heat will, nonetheless, be welcome.
