keeping cool

Millport on a hot day. The coolest place is the museum/aquarium /Marine Biological Station.
The ferry takes ten minutes to reach Cumbrae from Largs and then it's another ten to Millport in a bus packed to the gunwales with day trippers. We hired bikes and cycled round the island clockwise, anticlockwise and over the top.
Visited the Cathedral (smallest in Europe) where Joe longed to play the Bosendorfer concert grand, and the Garrison Centre where I rehydrated myself with tea. Joe swam in the sea and I paddled.
It was a Grand Day Out.
