Saturday Night

At the Gliding Club, a party to celebrate 2 Golden Wedding Anniversaries for two fabulous couples.  A fantastic night, super food, good music played by 3 club members and the best bit was to be amongst so many lovely friends, some we hadn't seen for literally years.  It was a late night, we gave up at 1am! The top picture in my collage is a photo I took a few years ago of Mr HB flying at speed along the ridge being photoed by a passing cyclist and me.   The photo also appeared in an issue of Sailplane and Gliding magazine. It was nice to see it hanging in the corridor of the accommodation block where we stayed.

Another celebration,  it's my #1 daughters Birthday.  57 years ago she was born in Hong Kong and today we met for lunch, Birthday cake, cards and pressies and the staff and most of the restaurant sang a pretty good rendition of 'the song'!

It has been a busy week.
