Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

power to the people

A very people centred day with a christening that took us out for several hours. The vicar was Uber trendy with tattoos, a liberal approach to the service, and (so I am told) Slap My Bitch Up by Prodigy as her mobile ringtone. Everyone was lovely and friendly and there were even vegan sausage rolls. But I can’t remember what the shells symbolised. Something profound…

England lost 2-1 to Spain in the Euro final but everyone agreed that the best team won. We had a jolly evening of watching it with neighbours at the bottom of the garden. It was a wake, not a funeral, with much beer and rum and coke consumed.

Driving was frustrating (M25 closure) and weather warm.

But most importantly it was a people day.
