Cars, Cars, Cars

Shrewsbury Classic Car Festival - Longden Village Hall, Shropshire.

I saw some amazing cars today and stayed till the end. A great turnout with splendid support from various car clubs and historic vehicle societies.

It was nice weather and everyone was on good form.

I had a bacon buttie for lunch and in the afternoon I had tea. And cake. And then I succumbed and had an ice cream too. Naughty boy!

I parked next to a family who came in a wonderful burgundy Bristol, and further down the line was a FABULOUS Ferrari 430 Scuderia, which blew my mind.

The MG club were there, as were the Triumphs, BMW, Porsches, Jensens, Scimitars, Jaguars, Mini, Sunbeam, Allard, Aston Martin, Ford, Austin, Morris, Mercedes, Riley, etc, etc.

Wow, I am all car'd out!

But it was fun. Oh, and there was a stunning Alfa Romeo 4C as well. And Rolls Royces.....I think you get the picture.

The extras show detail of the Ferrari's rear end and some detail of one of the finest MGB GTs I have ever seen. A superb concours car which had me drooling..

I'll shut up now.

Sorry England couldn't jump the final hurdle at the Euros, but so, so happy the Spaniard comprehensively demolished Mr Arrogant at Wimbledon.

A very, very good day in all.
