An horrendous experience travelling on South West trains to London from Sherborne . The train was rammed with people standing down the aisles .There were only three carriages .However, a kind man gave me his seat although I had said that I was fine standing .
My main concern was trying to follow the results of the Men’s Singles Final on line with hopeless WiFi !! It was perhaps not the most exciting game from what I saw but both men are good sports .
Arriving in London, there was palpable excitement in the air and lots of enthusiastic lads shouting !!
I was glad it was only a short walk to the premier Inn at Waterloo .
We ate here and watched the football - disappointing for all the youngsters watching but Spain played well ( not that I know anything :) ) .
