 I promised the boys a hill so this is what they got. 
I let them head off ahead of me with Midge  (mainly cos I had a bad migraine and had to try sleep it off in the car at the carpark....) so I  chased them up 1hr 15 mins later. They made it to the top before I caught them. I struggled with no energy after losing my breakfast a couple of times at the side of the road on route and they had all the food with them!!) 
We eventually crossed paths near the top as they descended, I continued on to the summit with Midge (she summited twice!) and then caught them up on the way down.
They did really well and seemed to really enjoy it.
