For Blips Sake

London

Train into London followed by a quick, delicious snack at Filo bakery before we headed to the Natural History Museum. Dinosaurs were first, naturally. I enjoyed it as much as Kara did I think. She even got to see Andy’s time travelling clock from one of the favourite CBeebies shows. Then off through the birds section to the earthquake and volcanos. A displayed shows that granite is radioactive. Reassuring when your house is made of the stuff.

Popped over to Covent Garden for lunch at Chestnut Bakery. We discovered Filo also supply them. Not issue, it was delicious and great to have a double dip!

Spent the afternoon wandering the shops and watching street performers. Kara was so chuffed when they said ‘if you have cash you can drop it in my hat’. ‘I have cash Daddy! We can give some!’ So a little bit of her holiday pocket money went to them. Well worth the 50p!

Ice creams then home. We had booked a table for pizza somewhere but after a hot day in London and grazing along the way we decided to grab a some snacks for the train home instead.
