Thanking my lucky stars!

Well it was a night and a day and a half!!

Ross, middle wild child, age 4 going on 14, blonde bombshell of a son fell off his bike last night :(

Long and short of it all was a little operation today under general to clean his face and stitch inside of his mouth and lip back together (his teeth went right through)

Anyway as we walked back to the car across the Meadows earlier tonight after saying thanks and goodbye to the lovely nurses I turned and took this photo. This is far more beautiful than Ross' face at the moment but I know he will be back to his handsome happy self in no time at all!

So tonight I'm thanking my lucky stars that we insist the children wear their helmets regardless of whether they are on their bikes or scooters. Ross' helmet is damaged and can and will be replaced. Children however are far more precious!
