I drove a few miles up into the hills to Caerwys to have a look around the Clwyd Practical Classics Charity Car Show. It was well worth the £5 entry fee with hundreds of cars from all over the country. The Escort RS2000 (see extra) caught my eye as it is one of the few cars in Java green colour. In 1980 I had a fiesta in this rare colour - you either love it or hate it!

At lunchtime I nipped down to Rhyl to see the North Wales Coast Express trundle its way along the coast.

Some gardening this afternoon, watched the end of the Wimbledon Men's final and now sitting down for the football.
