Agapanthus

We spent a long, and tiring, morning weeding a gravel bed in our garden and sorting out a lot of overgrown/ discarded  pots which I had dumped there over time. I didn't  take  a "before" photo, which means there isn't much point publishing  an "after" shot, so instead here is a picture of one of our Agapanthus blooms.
This afternoon, there was a heavy rain shower so I watched on TV the Women's  Singles finals at Wimbledon. It was a most enjoyable three -set match to watch and both players played well, but Barbora Krejcikova from Czechoslovakia beat Italian Jasmine  Paolini.
This evening, we went out looking for glow worms, again. However, we only found one glowing female, (instead of six we found last night). This could be because five of them found mates last night, or perhaps the  rain earlier today  dampened their ardour?
