The flame tree loses its lustre

Ever since I read The Flame Tree by Gwyneth Lewis, which is part of Seren's excellent retelling of The Mabinogion, I have been obsessed by the title. Imagine my surprise, then, as I went down to check on the spelling of Lewis's first name, to find out that the title of her book is actually called The Meat Tree - and I had completely misremembered.
