The Devil's Beeftub.

The Devil's Beeftub is about 5 miles North of Moffat on the way to Edinburgh.

Between 1300 and 1600, the Reiver period of Scottish history, it was a safe place to keep cattle stolen from the English...

We are now at an Edinburgh airport hotel...tomorrow morning we fly to Geneva, then on to Zermatt, by train,in the Swiss Alps.

We are there for a week. We hope to do lots of walking in the snowy alps!
