Hens

I was woken up at 0530 by a mozzie buzzing around, so thought we may as well go out walking early, before the rain started. We were back at 0845 for breakfast, and then it rained for a hour or so. The afternoon was hot and sunny so I did a bit of weeding before the tennis started, and at the moment Djokovic is not doing well.
In the photo are the new hens, who aren’t laying any eggs yet, and the old girls are on strike it seems, so we’re buying eggs from the farm shop.
You can also see a blue tarpaulin over the bit of the outhouse where the wall has fallen down. These old walls are very thick, and filled with earth, so eventually it all gets washed away, and walls fall down.
Fixing it is Mr F’s summer job. He’s yet to get started!
