Mr. Bee

William and I were mostly cycling today. As we headed out W spotted Mr. Bee and asked me to photograph it. So I had to oblige. Not bad I thought, for my little camera.

So we visited three shops in town and then headed to the library. W selected three books and then reminded me to pick up Carys's reserved book, Pippi Longstocking. Once Mummy had managed to turn the rucksack into a tardis that would take all our stuff, W asked very nicely if we could get something to eat and a baby 'cino. Mummy could hardly say no after W asking so nicely.

Then we headed to swimming, where to be honest he messed around a fair bit but did some beautiful swimming in the big pool for his teacher.

Back on the bike to Music Train, where he lead the clapping for the welcome song. It is the last one next week until September. More than half the class are going to school in September so it will be a totally different mix of kids and W will be one of the oldest. Will be interesting to see how he deals with that. (I did have a couple of shots of W playing a didgeridoo, but preferred the bee because of the light on it's wings.)

Quick bike back home to meet Nanna, get C from school and on to Ballet. It was watching week and Nanna came to watch as Daddy couldn't make it. William tried really hard and mostly was very good, but he could help himself but be a (noisy) airplane when he was supposed to be being a butterfly!

He then sat very quietly on my knee and watched Carys do her class. she had only done the steps once before as she has just started the Grade 1 syllabus, but you wouldn't have known. At the end of the class the girls got given their certificates for their exams. Carys got a distinction and shared the top mark with three other girls. She will now go into the Upper Grade 1 class with the girls who have been Grade 1 for a year. Very proud Mummy.
