Exit stage left

Où sont-ils?

So that's where all the French teenagers were! Roaming the streets of Winchester. Or blocking the paths as they wait for their bus. To be fair, it was much easier to pass than the bus queues on the other side of the road.

Edit: This backblipping is not going to be easy. I'd already forgotten what we did today until I flicked through the dates!

Last night's frustration at having not been able to get on the ferry was forgotten after and good night's sleep and a productive trip to Calais Vins. Possibly more productive for their bank balance than ours....

As we boarded the ferry we were greeted by the news that the M25 was closed in both directions not far from where we would join it. Although it had been reopened by the time it disembarked we couldn't really face long tailbacks. And the cross country route would add as much if not more time to our journey. Sooo, the only sensible thing to do was head to the Outlet Centre. Moderately restrained in the purchasing considering we were still in holiday mood and a pleasant meal in Wagamamas before making it back to Winchester just before rush hour started this end. Apart from a brief trip out for milk and bread the evening was spent lolling on the sofa in TV catch up mode.
