Under the Burleigh Bridge….

When there is no water running in sections of the Taylor River we take a shortcut from one side to the other, walking over the shingle. At present, with water in the river, we have to walk,via tracks and paths, under the Burleigh Bridge and then up and over using the footpath running alongside the vehicle section of the bridge.
Today I lunched with friend Dawn in her Villa. She watches CNN regularly and had seen the unfolding drama of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at a rally.
Being a politician in the US is a very dangerous occupation.
