Milestone

We took Maisie to the beach today, followed (as fortunately she does not suspect) by a bath. Today is the first day she has ever fetched a stick from the waves and brought it back: I think she has been watching the big dogs and finally understood what to do. The game and the running lasted a good 30 minutes. Tonight she is exhausted and I am exhilarated. Such is life with a toddler....
