Dropped A to collect her car and then started on the drive up to the Black Isle. It was damp and grey but at least we didn’t have any rain. Stopped at House of Bruar for steak pie lunch and then supermarket in Inverness. Arrived at the cottage around 4.30. Very well equipped old fisherman’s cottage which has been well- renovated . Looked through the copious brochures etc about what to do and just had drinks snd snacks after our enormous lunch. View from my bedroom window.
