Off The Unbeaten Track

I was home alone most of today with Mrs C out on a school reunion thingy (her words) and I couldn't bring myself to take Arlo to one of our usual walks, so made it up once we were out. We first went through some woods heading towards where I knew the South Esk was but we eventually reached a path that went along to top bank beside the river and found this disused bridge. 

We followed the path towards Temple until we came to a track that led back but down to the river, so we followed that. I've always wondered if there was a way to walk up the river to Roseberry, maybe this is it, but it is often heavily overgrown. After a play in the river, we headed back up the track. It's not a walk I'd do again, although might expore the paths/tracks again.
