Alfie

Looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I blipped Alfie this morning before my older brother and sister-in-law arrived as I thought I might not get the chance to take any photos later - but I did photograph my tiramisu at Pizza Express when we ate there in the evening, so there's an extra of it. We had a good catch-up as we hadn't seen each other for five years. We went to Blackford Pond for a bit of exercise and fresh air and saw the swan family and the mother mallard with (still) five young. There was also a little grebe family with two young which I was pleased to see as there didn't seem to be anything happening as regards little grebes when I last visited. It wasn't an altogether dry day but at least it didn't rain non-stop.
