Wood pigeon

This wood pigeon hung out in my garden for quite some time today. It certainly seemed very at home there, and appeared to be be having a wee snooze! In other bird related news, I put out a bird feeder for the first time yesterday afternoon. But when I got up this morning it was off its hook and lying on the ground. I was puzzled as to what had happened, but I found out this afternoon when I saw a crow lift the feeder off its hook and drop it on the ground. I have a feeling it has done that before! Feeder is now tied onto the hook, so we'll see how long that lasts.
