Starling beater

Rob’s new bird feeder! The starlings are not impressed, they can only pick at the edges of the fat balls instead of tearing off great chunks.  The sparrows and tits are quite happy with it, especially as it now has food for them most of the time, instead of being mostly empty.
The squirrels are despondent, and we have hardly seen them.
So far, so good.
