Boxes

I collect wooden boxes - well I did but I reckoned I had stopped because we have no room for any more. I said, "No more. Do not let me buy any more. Terry nipped into a shop in Shropshire and I was looking at old buildings but he called me over and said to come and look at something. Oh no! A wooden box. Of course,. I couldn't resist it. If I buy any more of them we'll need to add an extension to the house!
Eye was painful and had several different types of discomfort when i got up but it has improved a lot during the day. I can keep it open now which i couldn't before. I've been putting the drops in which I am sure will help. I had 2 painkillers on rising and 2 more after lunch but none since. It doesn't look very nice but then I didn't expect it to yet!
I am surprised at the difference in sight already. It's a bit blurry yet the vision and the eye is bloodshot - the colours have been the biggest surprise. I thought so much of our house looked to be dingey; paintwork, wallpaper, worktops, tiles etc. and now I realise it was the cataract making everything look dull and everything is not dull, it's bright! Now when I close my operated-on-eye the dingey look returns which must be the cataract that has started on the left eye - well, I will be itching to get that one removed as well.
