Different view in extras, along with a Phasia Hemiptera (Shieldbug Fly).  Another new one for me but it's a gorgeous wee thing!

Up early to meet Mel in Linlithgow - it's been a while since we last met up so we had loads to chat about!  The early start meant we missed the rain as we walked around the loch.

Home by Midday and felt like I had done a full shift!  But I dragged my butt out to the North Third mid afternoon where I came across both of these.  That's the fourth dragon I have seen in recent weeks!  I saw a Golden Ringed Dragonfly on Monday up Garshellach but it was flying.  I have never seen so many in the woods!  Probably best viewed large!

I only got a few sharp shots and couldn't work out why the rest were blurry until I realised it was vibrating its wings.  Got a short video which I will pop up on my Instagram page - it's fascinating to watch!
