Settled in...

This is the first skipper I've been able to photograph this year. I've seen a few flitting about, but they never settled. I'm sure that in previous (i.e. warmer) years, they've been a bit happier to sit still!

I went out in the early evening and this one had settled down to 'roost'.  I spotted some black and white butterflies that had also 'gone to sleep' and took some pics of them as well. One of those might well make the 'calendar cut' in the autumn, but I have blipped them a few times recently.
