what a night we had!

our new little pup was missing his family and was extremely vocal.
at 4 in the a.m. he managed to climb out of his pen and caused havoc.  after an hour clearing up, we put him back in his pen and decided we had to ignore the mewling.  

at some point we finally fell asleep until we felt his little bod on our bed.  he'd climbed out again and decided sleeping with us was the way to go.
we all got a few hours sleep but when we woke up at 9 we realised that all the bedding would have to be washed - i am still on it!

we went to buy a crate - but there were none to be had, but luckily a neighbour had one she'd got from the tip for a fiver and said we could borrow it until our online purchase arrives next week. it won't be a peaceful night, but at least we will know where he is!

other than that hoo ha, he has been good as gold today, sleeping on my shoulder, and now sleeping under my chair.  not quite got the hang of going to the loo in the garden, but that will come in time; he had quite the day yesterday.

his name:  given the amount of times we have to say 'No', Noah seems a tricky one - so we are looking for another - TKM is on it. i have my fave suggestion, but will have to wait and see what other options there are.  we will have to make our choice by the end of Sunday as on Monday he goes to the vets for his first visit.
